New Features

Updated capture interface for USB video devices

Description: C:\Users\Nathan\Desktop\release note images\Untitled (Recovered).bmpThe user interface to capture images from USB video devices has been updated to provide better support for the growing need of devices and scenarios. Using the tConsult Cart Configuration utility, administrators can define multiple buttons to be available on the “add to case” screen.  When clicked, each button will open a predefined video device.  Administrators can access the video’s property dialog within tConsult Cart or tConsult Cart Configuration to make any advanced adjustments. Users can adjust the video selection and resolution on the fly within tConsult Cart. Live video can be viewed in full screen by double clicking on the video.





Hand/Foot trigger switch can now be connected via USB

Previous versions of tConsult required a hand or foot switch to be connected directly to a video capture card. These switches can now be connected directly to a USB port via a custom adapter cable available from AFHCAN. Trigger switch preference option is available in tConsult Cart Configuration.


Updated Cart Configuration utility

tConsult Cart Configuration have been updated to provide ease of support for administrators. Options have been simplified to only include items needed for routine setup and maintenance needs. Plugin configuration for has been updated to enable custom button ordering, showing button preview as it will appear on the “add to case” screen in tConsult Cart, and exposing all configuration options available for each plugin.

 







External case automation services

New services are now available that allow external applications to interact with tConsult

  • Add/edit Patient
  • Identify Patient
  • Identify Provider
  • Create a Case
  • Add to a Case
  • Send a case

tConsult Reports and Forms Data Export

Reports have been updated and are now available for both clinical and system administrator roles within tConsult Web above the Forms Manager link in the left bar.

The new “Forms Data Export” allows users to export data gathered using forms that were added to cases.

 

Additional reports include “Provider Case Counts by Date” which displays simple case counts and “Server to Server Activity” report that displays case and attachment counts between organizations.

 

Reports can now be easily exported into Microsoft Excel.






For system administrators

·         Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 is now required.

·         Image viewing will default to 100% when the screen in smaller than the image.

·         Forms Synchronization between clients and servers has been updated for improved efficiency over slow connections

Known Issues

·         If the web.config has Vital Signs set to Celsius, it will be reverted back to Fahrenheit on upgrade. Cart configurations will not be effected and will be upgraded correctly.

Compatibility

tConsult Server and tConsult Cart must both be running v5.4.0.486 to correctly communicate with each other.
