Archive your Open Cases when Complete

Here's How

From the SEND CASE screen (Look in the upper left corner of the screen for the screen name. It is in the foreground of the large question mark) Select the gold ARCHIVE button. It is the third button from the top in the center of the screen.

The SEND SUMMARY screen will display. Take a minute be sure that you are satisfied that the case should be closed. If you are certain that the case is complete, once again select the gold ARCHIVE button, now located on the right side of the screen. If you decide not to archive the case, select the gray BACK button found under the ARCHIVE button.

Here's Why

For the individual provider: The time required to retrieve cases when the CASES YOU SENT button is selected from the Start screen increases with the number of open cases.

For the System Administrator: The time required to retrieve all open cases increases with the total of all providers' open cases. The time savings is significant for sites with large numbers of cases.

Here's What It Does

The case cannot be sent again, but may be retrieved and printed from any server it previously touched. The only addition to the case possible is a COMMENT. The case cannot be removed from archive status nor its content added to a current case. A new case and case number is created for a returning patient after a prior case for that patient is archived.
