At the top of the case preview pane are transmission buttons, including: Send, Hold, and Archive. If the case was sent to your group, then the Take button will be displayed. Once you take the case, the buttons shown below will appear.

The Send button opens a transmission window. Initially the To field may be prepopulated with the most recent sender’s name. This facilitates the process of replying to a case. A different recipient can be selected. Step-by-step instructions are provided below for selecting a recipient.
To send a case:
Step 1: With the case open in the preview pane, click on the Send button. The Send window opens.

Step 2: If the default recipient shown is correct, click the Send Case button. If you wish to send to a different recipient than the one displayed, click on the choose link next to the To recipient field. The Choose Recipients window opens.

Previous recipients for the case are listed at the top. Next is a list of your recent recipients. By default, your organization is selected in the Organization drop-down menu and groups and providers for the organization are listed below. For more details on users and groups, see the User vs. Group section below.
If your organization has a relationship with another organization through tConsult, you can select that organization from the drop-down menu. Depending on how another organization has its users set up, only certain providers and groups may appear.
Step 3: Click on a user or group in the Choose Recipient window. The Choose Recipient window closes, and transmission details for the user/group you selected are in the To section.
Step 4: Click on the Send Case button. The case is sent and now appears in your Sent Cases folder.
